Marshall Plexi
All in all, pretty mediocre.
Sounds is hollow. Sorry guys, there is no replacement for the real thing, a good mic or two on a good speaker cabinet.
The digital version sounds hollow, thin and basically unusable.

It is of the best
The best emulation combo I've ever heard !!! Thank UAD

Sounds like the real deal
It is scary how much this sounds like a real 1959. I used to have two Marshall 1959 as well as many other Marshalls. They did a damn good job emulating this plugin. This has nothing to do with the sound of the plugin so I a not going to knock off stars for this.
1) this plug in is too large it should be about half of the size and the LA3A plugin should be about double the size.
2) the Mid knob is missing. Yes, you can use the text readout in the top left but it is annoying.
I hope UA fixes these two problems in a new release.
Just like the real Marshall you need to run this thing through a pedal. When I had all my original Marshalls I had two Klon Centaur pedals. UA needs to emulate this pedal!!!

Fantastic Tone
Although I have never played a real Plexi I have heard its characteristic 'scooped' growl sound on so many great records- please folks, don't buy this plugin expecting it to sound like a Mesa Boogie, I think many people disappointed with this plugin just have a false expectation- listen to Duane Allmans solo in Statesboro Blues by the Allman Brothers, this thing loves slide! Push this into the Studer A800 to tame the highs=heaven! To my ears and my fellow band members it sounds simply fantastic- I have done many comparisons with other amp sims and this always notches ahead. I would advise that you turn off the room mics when you start out as they are throwing many people off- room mic signals are usually only used for the mix stage anyhow!

It is what it is
All I can say is that it is like playing through a real 2203 (in fact a sweet one). The way the guitar reacts is incredible. All the sounds that you experience through the amp are here, including the one's you need to control when you are balls to the wall. The clean response on the jazz settings are so clear and sweet as well. I have dialed in 4 main sounds that give me just about everything I need.

Great amp!
Awesome plugin. With the Tube Screamer in front of it, you can get a great rock sound. Has the feel of a real amp.

Holy 70s...
I own all of the Marshall emulators on the UAD platform. This is everything they are promoting. It's like stepping into any record from the mid-70s and getting that tone. Whereas the 1959 specializes in the early 70s Deep Purple tone, this is more focused distortion and the clean tones are phenomenal. Don't hesitate to add this to your library, you won't be sorry you did.

My new essential Plugin
I got the Marshall JMP 2203 Plug-in today, it saved me so much time and delivered the sound I needed for my mix.
I was trying to get a track that had the warmth of a tube amp but not overly distorted. I needed something to bring alive the thin Strat rhythm part in a blues tune. I dialed in the Clean Jazzy Preset, which got me started. Within minutes I adjusted the controls, so I could hit the sweetspot, the guitar part was then sitting great.
The ability to choose TWO mics at a time from a possible four and mix them is a great feature and shows some of the flexibility of this plug-in.
The Marshall JMP 2203 Plug-in is going to see a lot of action from now on in my studio.

Very Authentic
Like many here I have owned a number of Marshalls in my lifetime amongst many other amplifiers like Fender and Mesa Boogie's. There is a certain magic about the Marshall sound and this plugin captures it very well. More so than anything else I have heard, the deep bottom end of a Marshall head and Quad box is replicated here in an extremely authentic way, and the guitar reacts the way it should to that setup. Great job guys.

Versatile, responsive, almost perfect.
The ability to use the unison slot on the Marshalls is a big plus for responsiveness and feel. Real-world 2203s are nauseously loud and I was always closed-minded about master volume Marshalls - turns out, the 2203 is very flexible: everything from good, jazzy clean tones to that leg-bandana/hair-metal sound. Sits in the mix easily and great with the Trident A-Range.
My complaints (an issue with all four Marshall plug-ins) are the limited mic choices and placement options. (Compare Ocean Way options.) But I would have a hard time identifying this plug-in from the real thing if I were A/B-ing them blind in a control room, which is why it’s getting 5 stars and not 4. A joy to use; will make you want to buy fingerless driving gloves....

Very impressed
I have been playing modeled guitar amps since they first existed and was never fully satisfied. I owned and played this range of Marshall back in the day. I downloaded the demo for this amp using Unison input on Apollo it immediately felt real and sounded great, bought it right away!! Truly impressed that is has an amp "feel"

Another amp in the studio.
As all the other Marshalls you want this one. If you use (of course you do:-)) an Apollo interface with the Hi/Z input and this amp in the Unison slot you can be stucked for hours just playing because of it is like playing the real thing.
I always , record with wet sound into DAW as in areal studio with a real hardware amp, you set the sound that suits the track and plays, this happens with the Unison Marshalls you becomes a musician, which is way we all starts in the beginning.
Buy this plug and an Apollo interface.

Thumbs up
Excellent. Very useful. Great sound.

Most realistic sounding amp plugin I have played on
This is a really nice sounding plugin, not only does it sounds right but it feels right. Really versatile also. The fact that it works with Unison is a big plus. Already recorded many tracks with it for multiple projects.

Too Close!!!
I just happen to own a Silver Jubilee and I am here to tell you guy's it is so close it's scary. I bought this only for the reason to compare em and except for the difference I hear due to my ol ragged out speaker cab. My cab. is not broken or anything it is just old and very well broke in. I recorded two lead tracks and played them for a very good player friend of mine, one on my amp and one with the plug-in---------WOW! my bud could not tell the difference and he is a seasoned player as in over 50 years playing guitar. So all I have to about that is Damn

Finally
I've been looking for something to replace my marshall amp for a while. I sold it long ago and have been trying amp emulations since then only to be disappointed. I've tried most of the UAD emulations as well and they are decent. This one is no disappointment! From cleans to distorted, it does so well. I've been running my synths through it as well. Big Win!

Mostly happy
I am still learning to dial it in, and I don't actually know whether it sounds just like the original or not. I am happy with the sound it puts out, although I still need to learn how to dial it in.
That being said, it takes a HUGE amount of the DSP. I pretty much can't use it on my Twin unless I am happy having nothing else in the chain. If I want to use this, I need to use it on my QUAD.

My new favorite amp sim!
I'm a huge fan of UAD's platform / workflow and a few off their plugins have become essential to my daily life (Fatso, Fairchild, Ocean Way, API Vision and BAX). However in my humble opinion, their amp sims have been uncharacteristically disappointing, especially for the price. But this JMP is truly remarkable! I've never heard a sim deliver so much beef with so much organic detail / responsiveness. It doesn't do over-the-top laser distortion, but you can get that from just about every other sim or from many affordable real amps. For players who prefer to create The Heavy from that old school, amp-on-11 type of overdrive then this thing is just the ticket. I also love that it only has a few knobs and no dizzying list of cabs / mics.

Marshall® Bluesbreaker 1962 Plug-In
The best sounding guitar amp emulation I´ve ever heard! (Svobodan, Singer/Songwriter/Producer)
