even in my ears a difference to free vst's
i first bought the thomann 70th anniversary bundle & after that i purchased the essential bundle for nice-price too...of course i hunted & still download free stuff and hobbywise try stuff out...even tho' great vst's like in these bundles don't give me more knowledge towards basics of mixing etc., they have this kind of add that free stuff (more or less) lack....just loading the pultec hlf-3c with cut 'off' gives the sound/drum loop/group or bus/beat/track this special 'smooth' or warmth....definitely worth the money especially because i can not afford those vst's at a full price & i rather pay once and have a vst/bundle instead of 'flatrating' it monthly and don't have it when i quit 'flatrating'....so thnx for those bundles...

Just what I was looking for!
Despite having "big name" compressors, something was lacking in a mix I was fussing over. Then, I came upon UA's Century Tube. Wow, is all I can say. It really helped to glue everything together for me. I got focus on a muddy kick drum, while taming some annoying highs and maintaining the dynamics.
Overall, simple to use.
Fantastic, UA!v. Chepeliev
THIS SOUNDS REALLY GOOD
I recently received a plugin, now not a single mix can do without it

A small synth with a big sound.
It is a very high-quality polysynth, worthy of the sound of the classics. It has very sophisticated modeling and is simple to use, but it has many possibilities and also great presets. It has a unique sound—don't be fooled by its simplicity. It has a very serious sound, a real analog feel.

Sounds great
PolyMAX sounds very good, I like the synth because of its really nice analog sound - and hope that it will be expanded in the future (more filters for example).

Best sounding plate reverb that I have encountered
I've usually avoided plate reverb emulations in the past, but this one has changed my mind about them. To my ear, the plate reverbs I've experienced sound like electronic and cheap, not like a real space that I'd like to live in. I think it has something to do with the dimensions of the plate, and the quality and placement of the transducers. This one gives a subtle, pleasant plate sound, and seems more three-dimensional than the other ones. Because it uses relatively low DSP, it pretty much lives on my vocal tracks for the headphone mix. I record dry and add IR reverb to taste in post-production.
