Outstanding
Still a novice after only 10 years of mixing, but even my ears can tell this lends a beautiful sound and an ease of use that is most welcome. The preamp and EQ's are a joy to use, it's pretty hard to make material sound bad using them. The gate is super easy to dial-in and the compressor is nice and punchy. Maybe a mix dial for the comp and an output trim under the fader in a future update would make the whole package perfection.

I loved this plug in until the last updates
This plugin is my best friend for my guitar, but it's not formatting correctly since the last two updates. I can only see the top quarter of the plugin now. M1 MacBook Pro OS Sequoia 15.3.2. Hopefully y'all fix it soon. This plug in really helps with the noise and punch through the mix. I always use the noise gate, the compression and great EQ

Punchy with a warm presence is best way that I can describe API Vision. I use API Vision on everything with a fantastic result! Just get it ! You won't regret it.

I'm blown away by the API Vision Channel Strip Collection! This plugin has completely transformed the sound of my productions. nice channel strip
it works great, a channel strip with the famous sound, of course it is not really sounding like the real thing, as I have some Api Hardware, but if you dig in deeper, it is coming close, what I don`t like about the plugins, is, that you have to be online to make them work...I think nobody likes that-

The real thing … and then some.
API has always been a favourite of mine, specially for recording guitars., The midrange EQs works perfectly for the job, not harsh but punchy. The Q curve sharpens or widens in relation to the gain you apply and can sweeten or cut the harmonics you’re looking for in a musical manner. I’ve worked on a dozen API analogue consoles over the years and used numerous API plugins but it’s only UAD that have really nailed the feel, colour and grain of the legendary consoles. Being compatible with the Apollo mix engine makes it the prefect recording tool, pre-amp, EQ, compression and gate all with zero latency. It’s become my ‘go to’ input plugin for the vast majority of my in the box recording and mixing.

Learn how to use that for 2 weeks, and it's a killer for my drums! you can shape your drum set so quickly and sounds great. love 560L, quicker than 550L, but 550L also powerful!

Just got it and need to dig in' but so far, I like the top end and how clean and accurate this strip sounds. I will no doubt use this on acoustics is what comes to mind for now.

If you need the API sound then this is it
Absolutely love this channel strip, I bought it mostly to use with drum overheads but find myself using it on other tracks as well. The gate is very musical and the compression is really nice to color the sound in the API way. Really brought some of my mixes to life………rule of thumb, try it out, if you know what it does try it out and you will buy it. It does what it does perfectly and it’s a tool that will ease your life and quicken mixing speed

Sound is good, but
Yes, the sound is good, saturation on Mic input is great, but it is not available as console or UAD2 even if they promise you can claim, in fact its not working, it is just another plugin.
And the handling of this rotating knobs is a nightmare. Support is = Zero.

Disappointed to find this does not immediately work as a Luna console
I bought this thinking it would work as a LUNA 'console' since the device being emulated looks the same as the limited-time demo of the 'LUNA extension'., and the name is almost the same, amongst the list of software you are invited to browse when clicking on 'Explore' within LUNA. Very disappointed to find that you cannot load it from the console menu - it's a channel strip, after all.
