Used in all my mixes
This reverb immediately found a place in my mixing template. The biggest difference is how quickly I can get inspiring sounds from it. By far the most convincing plate reverb plugin I have ever heard and I don't know what I would do without it. You can add just a touch of depth to drums, create a smoky atmosphere for a lead vocal to sit in, or drench a surfy guitar.

YES!!
I used to use the hardware version back at Sigma NYC in the '80s. I am amazed at the true replication of the EMT "sound" in this plug-in. UA nailed it! Not surprising.
UA's plug-ins have not disappointed me yet! And it's so nice to have an "old friend" like the EMT 250 back at my disposal.
A suggestion for upcoming releases: Telefunken V76 mic pre-amp. The best mic pre I have ever owned or used! I love the API Vision, Neve 1073 and UA 610's -- the Telefunken would be a welcome edition.

Excellent but...
Like most of the stuff from UD. Too bad those guys didn't find a way to make us able to simply get rid of the plug ins we don't use, This would be elegant, And a time saver...

Five Stars all the Way! Get this now!
Absolutely the best reverb I have used. I have the Lexicon 224, EMT140, RVerb, etc. This is easy to use and sounds incredible. Just put in on any track or mix bus and it sounds great. Easy to adjust and sits in the mix well.

Simple
Just turn the knob and it does the rest. It blends in well with a mix and provides glue. Highly recommended.

Instant Lushness
I've been trying to get a nice plate sound out of many plugs, this is the one for me. Strap it in for instant lushness. It's so easy to use because it sounds great. Thanks again for a great product.

We testet several other Reverb-Plugins. We bought this one for our Studio. It's now our best for clean Guitars an Vocals.

Unique Rich Verb
This little plugin does big things. You can create such space and countenance in tracks, especially vocal tracks when used sparsely. It's lush and warm. I often use it in line with another verb to create a spectacular sound. One of the few must have plugins.

EMT® 140 Classic Plate Reverberator Plug-In
I am fairly new to the Universal Audio family but it's a family I am proud to be part of, I just love everything about Universal Audio.
I have only used the EMT® 140 Classic Plate Reverberator Plug-In twice and I already feel it's a plug-in that I will be using a lot, I used it on my bass I was trying to get an old 70's sound and within seconds I had it. I didn't have to do to much fiddling with it and BAM the sound I wanted was coming out of my speakers.
Like I said I have only used it twice so I need a little more time with it, like all the other plug-ins from UAD I know I won't be let down and look forward to having a good play with it and using it to it's full potential.

Warm and lush
There's no better way to have a richer, warmer and better sounding classic plate sound than using the EMT140 from UAudio.
Transparent reverb lovers: stay away from this!

SWEEEEEEEEET !!!
It's far better than I expected and has some really gripping sounds. The 140 plate is that sound you heard on all the records and the 250 is instantly recognizable as "that" reverb. They just sit so well in the mix.

The only reverb I use
I love this reverb plugin so much. It works on everything, drums, guitars, vocals, keys and anything else you need to verb. The presets are a great start, and the plugin is very tweakable. I find it sounds great in mono and stereo, and will usually run a mono and stereo buss of the same setting to keep things less muddy. If you buy 5 UA plugins make this one one of them. Essential.

Once upon a time hardware reverb was unbeatable.
I think back a dozen or so years ago when plugins started to get good but reverb plugins still couldn't quite live up to hardware. These EMT plugins can!

Very Good plate reverb!!! Must Have!
Did not work with the original device, but really enjoy working with the plugin!
140 Sound does not repeat other plugins!
- Very good at the drums! Gives depth to SNARE and TOM'S!
- In some cases, very good sound on vocal tracks. Gives a soft sound to a hissing sound, and a sense of space. No pail sound.
- Deep sound, good tail.
- A good read in the mix.
- Easy operation.
- You can quickly adjust the sound for themselves and get the desired result.
- One of the few plug-in that is required for the sound engineer at MIXING.
