I guarantee this will change your life
Just demo this plugin (stereo) on a mono acoustic guitar track that has been recorded with a pickup. Use the studio A guitar preset. And tell me the guitar track wasn't recorded with incredible mics in the most gorgeous room.
So now with my apollo I get this acoustic guitar sound live on all my gigs. UA continues to change the whole game.
Of course it's equally stellar on a drum submix, or lead vocal, or any sound you want to have a gorgeous room sound instead of a dry close miked sound.

Need a room?
Well, this might not be the cheapest, nor the lightest plugin on the UAD DSP-platform. However this room sounds like no other room-emulation I have encountered. It sounds open and very 3D-ish = natural. I had my doubts about the Re-mic outcome but these were all put to shame. Astonishing what this can do to a fairly dry signal and virtual instruments. Hats off to UA for this one. Pricey and heavy on the shark chip (bounce in place for me)- but no one comes close to this one. Do yourselves a favour and try it - you will need that room:)

a great suble reverb for tracks recorded in a dead or otherwise uninteresting space - has some peculiarities in it's function so read up on the remic v reverb settings in the manual. that said, this plug is very helpful for adding dimension/life to tracks without too much wash.

Exceeded expectation
Love drums through this thing! But honestly anything goes... Vocals, guitar, piano, anything. Adds great natural space to any track and easy to adjust. Definitely more options than I would have guessed. Great plug.

This plugin is Boss !
I Demo'd O.W.S after reading a review on the new "Daft Punk" mix ...I loaded it up, tracked through it from the get go with a decent Taylor and the "Guitar preset" loaded , Wow !..All this added Control i was suddenly presented !!! I love this Plugin .It sounds great on Overheads and adds nice body to snare in Reverb Mode. I also love the space its created in my mixes .Dialing in a different Kind of depth & Character in a few simple tweaks :)

A game changer plugin
This is for sure the most innovative plugin of the UAD line.
Didn't find a source i couldn't improve with this amazing tool.
As a room/ambiance reverb unit it is great... but once you start to use the re-mic mode then you enter a whole new world where you can go from just adding subtle "air" around the source to fully imerging it into this great souding studio while changing the overall tone by switching mics.
The more tracks you'll use it on and the more smooth and coherent your mix will start to sound before you'll even really start to mix.
If you work mainly ITB this plug really is a game changer. 5 stars !!!

Alors là réellement bravo, merci merci merci. L'impression de modification de la pièce est brillantissime. Les simulations de mics excellente avec toutefois l'envie de pouvoir bénéficier d'autres modèles ( U47, Telefunken ELLA etc...) enfin on peut toujours rêver.. Je n'aurais pas assez de place pour vous décrire les qualités de ce plugg mais quoi qu'il en soit, foncez dessus si vous n'avez pas la chance d'avoir des pièces parfaites . Trouvez l'endroit le plus neutre chez vous et créez vous votre espace grâce à Ocean Way.

I like it!
First of all it works well very well. Second you get to where you want to go with the sound it feels strong. Third it is fun! It's not about effect it is about space and the importance of the preformance. Helps with the thinking process of recording, plus it does not disappoint. In other words it's great, go for it!

I love it
I have only added this plug in to vocals and piano tracks but it drastically improves the sound of the track.
it makes it sound like it was recorded in a better room.
I can run only two instances on my Duo though.

Understated beauty of reverb
English is not my skills and hope I am writing you to understand.
I doubt all the special effects, reverb plug-in to my heart was shaking.
Ocean Way Studios it shook my heart. As much as I want to express the beauty that exceed gave. Will be my main reverb.
Another advantage is that good quality is easy to use. I'm not an expert. Therefore simple, but want to maximize the effect. Is just such a plug-in.

really, really good.
It does what it's supposed to do. I record myself in a very small room much of the time. This gives me the sound of a decent size room, without a lot of tweaking. The modeling is great, but most of the time I'm using the Reverb mode, when I use it.
I have used the modeling in situations where the tone of the instrument wasn't captured the way I would wish it was. It has saved the day without any EQ, more than once.
It's a good tool, and has a lot of control on tap. Sounds good, and does what no other reverb in my bag can do!

Already using it on drums bus on a metal album, my rec room is 3mx3m, so I use it to add more space, it works great.

Ocean way kicks butt!
This is an incredible plugin and surpassed my expectations! It works extremely well with drums and electric guitars... It adds such a believable depth to drums that I no longer even setup room mics! I've only used the reverb function so far and am completely sold on it! It sounds great and is pretty well idiot proof! Explaining MY testimony! Haha! Great stuff from UA! Thanks guys!

I tried he demo of this plugin and was amazed by the quality. I've never heard anything like it. The effect sounds glued with the source material unlike any reverb or convolution processor I've used. Thank you Universal Audio. Keep up the amazing work.

Good on live recording
In mixing a live recording where everything was closed miked this plugin was really useful.
The organ was a bit edgy and in my face so I tried to use a re-mic setting which took some of the edge of and placed the organ on the stage instead of in the speakers. Good result from little effort.
I tried the reverb setting on the drums. I printed the room to a new track to save dsp and mixed it in with the drumbus and the result was that the drums took the place a bit behind the other instruments and gave the mix depth and a nice glued live sound.
