Considering how I can have a nice tube feeling which I have experienced in the analog recording studios in 1990's, this fairchild would be the closest so far. Now I am looking forward having Manley Collections which I expect to have the real studio work in 2000's.

This thing has a pretty unique sonic signature. The mid range is just *tasty*. There are places where the LA2A works better, places where the Fairchild works better, and places where the DBX 160 works better. But on my particular scratch old, this thing is the bomb. Definitely do the trial and see if it fits what you’re trying to do. I’m loving it.

Very Useful and Ultra-Musical
Like I needed another dynamics plug-in! But UAD made it too inviting to pass up and I'm glad they did. It has a distinct flavor that sounds great, especially on direct guitar. I also picked up the CAPITO CHAMBERS yesterday and together, they are magic when combined on a direct guitar signal.

I should have known. original price $500 and some. and now discounted to $49. Then surprise they try to get you to buy a dongle but I find you can get around this. yeah. I'm very skeptical of any more purchases from this company or any virtual sound equipment. Still haven't got it working. Little or no response from the seller.

I found it difficult to get going on this as it asked me to buy a dongle which was not originally pointed out. I asked and found out you can get around that and can open the software for free. I struggled with this for too long imo and requested a refund on more than one occasion but got no response. After fooling around a bit more I got the thing downloaded which means I can no longer get a refund-and so I will sometime in the future continue to try and get it up and running. I can ask for help if needed. oh well.

It's Decent
Honestly, I love almost everything from UA, But this one misses the mark a bit.
It's very basic. Totally usable, but basic. I did really like the reverse piano pre set and will probably use that on something, but overall I have others I will probably create with first.S. Jones
Do not pass over this compressor.
I think we all read reviews and compare the list of awesome UAD compressor plugins. All the recording standard 1176 and LA2A style compressors that are my go-to compressor plugins. I have picked up several others but always skipped over the 175B and the 176 because I figured it can't be as good as the 1176. I decided to finally purchase and experiment and boy was I wrong. I am extremely pleased with the goodness these compressors bring to my ears. There is power and a nice sonic tone that hear compared to the other compressors. I will definitely be using these more often. *** WARNING: If you buy this compressor plugin first you may not like other compressor plugins as much ***

I really love how the 1176 works with the mid range of the sources, especially in parallel processings, you could go subtle on it but the results are very nice to me.Amazing treating drums and vocals, you can achieve different flavors and attitudes, no matter the music style you are mixing.

EXCELLENT IS THE MIDDLE NAME OF UNIVERSAL AUDIO
I have been searching for a plugin that emulates the L22 Leslie for many backbreaking years of lugging around a two hundred pound speaker cabinet....... but none had been found to be accurate. Although not perfect it is the BEST rotary emulation I have ever heard. Thanks UA for QUALITY products!!!!

UAD 1176
UAD 1176 gives an incredible tone and depth to the vocals . I was using UAD LA 2A compressor for quite sometime. Nowadays I started to use UAD 1176 as my first vocal compressor with a fast attack and release, and followed by LA 2A.

Es increíble con la tecnología unison suena igual al hardware, las felicitaciones para Universal audio por el trabajo minucioso, están en todos los detalles.
Este pre en formato Hardware lo utilice cuando trabaje en un estudio pro de Uruguay.
Ahora que tengo la forma de probarlo en formato software es increíble, uaudio ha realizado magia, solo queda agradecimiento. Ojala pueda obtenerlo ahora solo estoy usando la demo.
Si tienes dudas, te digo mas de 25 años de experiencia tengo y este Avalon vt-737 es fantástico.
